Vacation

We have had a busy week! We started off with a baby shower in Indiana for Nora's soon to be be little cousin Austin.
We had a great time visiting with Bryan's side of the family at the shower. Four of the five brothers were there and they had some games planned for them. It was hilarious watching four grown men racing to suck down baby bottles!
(Proud mom and dad to be below)
After the baby shower, we headed south to Florida for the week. Nora did really well in the car for the ride down. We stayed on the Gulf coast near Bryan's mom's house for most the week.
These pics are from Homosassa Springs. Its a great place to see manatees up close!

We drove out to Fort Island Gulf Beach. We went out on the pier and watched the dolphins. Then we went to the beach.
Here's Nora saying only one cracker to the birds that were begging.

Nora wasn't to fond of the sand. We had to trick her to get her off the blanket. Later that afternoon, we went to another park for a walk and then out to dinner.

We drove up to Silver Springs. There are five springs that feed the Silver River. This is one of Florida's original tourist attractions. They had animals, petting zoo, carousel and glass bottom boats.
I think Nora liked the llama best from the petting zoo.

She couldn't get enough of the birds

The glass bottom boat...

Nora learned Crocidiles go "Chomp,Chomp!"
Here she is acting cute and innnocent, ordering room service?
Later in the week, we headed to Tampa. We went to the Flordia Aquarium, Ybor City, John's Pass and a beer release from Cigar City Brewing.

Were you expecting to see Nora in her swimsuit? Sorry it was either too cold, the pool wasn't heated or raining. You'll have to wait a few more months.
