BOO!!!

Last weekend we traveled up to see the G'parents. While B went on to Minneapolis for a beer release, H & N went to H's sister's house to celebrate halloween by going to Boo at the Zoo. N ended up staying behind with her Uncle G because it was so cold and windy. Thanks again Uncle G!

Cousins- K is Cinderella, C is Miley Cyrus (nice wig!), M is a SWAT officer and P is a outlaw

Here's P and C actually looking like they like one another. Maybe it was all the fun at the zoo or the carousel?

Cinderella is gazing at the pumpkin, imaging her ride to the ball. And no the SWAT guy is not aiming the gun at her. N is a cute little duck with feet that say Quack, Quack.
Tonight for Halloween, we are just going to hang out, hand out candy, and sit by the fire! M was telling us about an orthodontist in her area that is buying halloween candy from kids for a $1 a lb. The candy is then being shipped to the military. Awesome idea! Enjoy and be safe.

1 month check up

N is 11 lbs! H knew she had filled out but was guessing more around 10.5.

H gallbladder surgery was good, the recovery has been a little rough. H body didn't process the gas very well that they use to bascially fill the abdomen up so that they can use the laproscopic tools. It was extremely uncomfortable and for the first couple of days the pain medication actually made it worse. B was a great help, as always. B's mom was in town also. She had planned the visit to meet her granddaughter. She got extra bonding time due to H being completely out of it as far as taking care of N. Thanks for all the extra help!

Sorry there are no new pics. We will get some on here after the weekend. We are going 'home' for a long weekend with lots of halloween activites and lots of family. Check back soon!

4 weeks already!

Time is flying by and N is getting big so fast. Last week N was already 9lbs 4oz. She has her one month check up next week. It will be interesting to see how much more she's gained. She's been very busy growing as you can probably tell from all of the nap time pics.
Believe it or not she does eventually wake up, usually in the late afternoon and early evening.
On a side note, little Miss N apparently caused a good hormone roller coaster to H that resulted in her gallbladder being chuck full of stones. H is having it removed this week. We don't suggest the gallbladder attacks, H says its worse than contractions!

Cousin K

N had more visitors this past weekend. Aunt M and Uncle G came down to visit with cousin K. K thought N was quite fun. They got along pretty well. K helped give N a bath which you can tell N enjoyed better than her first bath! N is doing much better with her days and nights. She is sleeping much better. We also switched to Dr. Brown's bottles and N is much less gassy! =)
